Dear Community Members, friends, neighbors and visitors,

For nearly 70 years, Waldport Beachcomber Days has been a volunteer-driven tradition dedicated to bringing our community together. The Waldport Beachcomber Days nonprofit and its volunteers have long stewarded this event, which has become a beloved part of our local history.

Due to current circumstances, the official Waldport Beachcomber Days organization will not be hosting the event this year. This marks the first summer in nearly seven decades that our nonprofit will not be the organizing body.

We are aware that another group has announced plans for an event and is referring to it as the 70th year. While this upcoming event is not being organized by the Waldport Beachcomber Days nonprofit, we sincerely hope that all vendors, bands, volunteers and community members have a safe and enjoyable summer.

The legacy of Beachcomber Days belongs to the generations of volunteers, sponsors, and participants who built it. Please note that the Waldport Beachcomber Days name and logo are federally registered trademarks representing that nearly 70-year history.

We remain proud of our organization's role in this community tradition and are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us throughout the years. Community traditions endure because of the people who believe in them, and we look forward to the future.
